Why President Trump likes his role and hates his job, what does this mean for the November election?
You must admire the persistence of US President Donald Trump. In the past 100 days, nearly 100,000 Americans have died under his supervision, and he is still bragging about his success and greatness.
Of course, the President is convinced that he is not responsible for these deaths. In fact, he has done a "great job" and saved "the lives of millions of people."
Trump also believes that the economy is "Trump is right." He believes that there has never been a president like President Trump.
Surrealism? Maybe. But he believed.
Trump often talks about himself in the third person. He has already lived two lives, or arguably two lies-a populist outsiders and an unfortunate White House insider.
May true Donald Trump stand up
Ever since real estate tycoon, TV sensation and brand guru was selected as the world's leading superpower and won an amazing advantage in November 2016, he has been very interested in playing the protagonist of the world's greatest TV show.
As if he were still in Trump Tower, @realDonaldTrump continued to tease himself and watch TV and tweet, bully, crown and accuse his critics, and praise and flatter his running dogs, while at the same time confusing American friends and Enchanted the enemy.
He spent his life. This is the artist's dream come true. He can say anything, and then watch it cause a national clamor, "just like you have never seen".
His motto is: All publicity is good publicity. If you are not famous, as long as you lead the news agenda.
Therefore, when critics called him "an extremely unstable person," Trump insisted that he was a "stable genius."
When the Washington institution was dissatisfied with his dangerous Middle East policy, he preached that he was "the king of Israel" and "the second coming of God."
In this process, he became an international figure and an undisputed star in world politics. Neither Hollywood nor glamorous Obama can match such an excellent political drama.
But then, just as the leader prepared for another four-year season, everything collapsed.
No drama, not a spectacle, but behavior.
The pandemic struck suddenly, and Trump must not only be president, but also president.
Life depends on it.
Rude awakening
The epidemic destroyed the parties and interrupted Trump's scripted reality.
He was forced to rule during times of crisis.
So he tried.
However, the "American CEO" who manages the White House like Trump Tower is completely stuttered by unqualified loyalists and family members.
He desperately tried to cover up the epidemic through debate. He first insisted that it did not exist, that was just a scam. Then he claimed that it was not important, it would disappear.
but it is not the truth. It spread like wildfire.
As he struggled to understand the scientific and medical aspects of this national public health emergency, as people died in droves, wonders became real-life tragedies.
He tried to do what he did best-brand building. He stamped his name on every government cheque issued to tens of millions of Americans in need, hoping to arouse people's appreciation. He also appeared at every news conference to introduce the "great work" he has done in fighting viruses.
Within a few weeks, Trump declared success, not victory, and tried to move on.
But to no avail. The virus will not be intimidated, fascinated, or forgotten.
But when insider Trump failed in the White House, populist outsider Trump relatively successfully blamed the failure on China, the "democratic idlers" and the World Health Organization (WHO).
He also accused the deep state bureaucracy, governors, and scientists of disagreeing with his optimistic prediction, calling their warning "a political highlight."
But Americans continue to die and the economy continues to slump.
Since the Second World War, more Americans died of COVID-19 this year than in all American wars. The country has witnessed the worst economic downturn since the First World War.
In short, the new coronavirus has infected Trump's entire presidency, putting it in a critical state.
Signs of fatigue, pain, and depression are just some of the symptoms the White House exhibits because it attempts to expose brave faces to helpless situations.
But the numbers will not lie. The countless dramatic images of crowded hospitals and empty streets will not always be associated with Trump ’s term, and will likely destroy his chances of re-election.
So what should I do?
